A day working on my apps

I've had quite a busy day updating a few of my apps. I started the day by checking out Todolet's product roadmap and seeing that August's planned new feature was a drag and drop way to reorganise your day and week.

This was actually more complicated to implement than I initially thought, and it took quite a few iterations to stop dragged tasks ending up in an orphaned state. Eventually I got it right, and deployed the new feature whilst checking it off August's roadmap.

I've been trying to give Stay Monday a bit of a push lately, and I decided to put a bit of money behind it with some Meta ads. I'm very passionate about the North East hotel market - I started my career in it after leaving school - and I'm still quite involved in the industry.

Stay Monday is essentially a curated list of my favourite hotels, which click out to affiliate links in one way or another. I've tried a few different programs, such as Expedia Creator Network and Booking.com affiliates, but recently I discovered Stay22 and decided to give them a spin on it.

Combined with the Meta ads, traffic has been growing and my click-through conversation % is double digits, which I'm quite happy with. I don't anticipate this to be a big money spinner, but it's a nice project to work on.

Between those two tasks, and planning a few posts for my weight loss blog, it's been quite busy! Let's see what tomorrow brings.
